Torres Protection Group began operations in 2011, with one investigator (Rafael Torres), and has grown to a boutique firm with over thirty investigators statewide and a diverse group of clients, including insurance companies, law firms, and TPA's.  As we continue to grow, we will maintain the same level of bespoke service clients have grown to expect.  

 

Our investigations model is designed to provide information to attorneys, risk managers, insurance adjusters, and other individuals to assist in making correct choices affecting their respective organizations. Our protection model includes one of the most highly regarded executive protection programs in the nation, providing executive protection specialists personally trained by our founder and former Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, Rafael Torres.

Staff and Bios

The staff at Torres Protection Group is comprised of former military and law enforcement professionals. Leadership experience is mined exclusively from US Federal Law Enforcement, which guarantees a work product based on unparalleled professionalism, ethics, and integrity. Talent drawn from military and law enforcement ensures our team is exceptionally trained and experienced in all aspects of security and investigations.

Torres Protection Group covers the entire state for the same all-inclusive rates. We have trained investigators in every major city in Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee.  This concept enables us to work assignments using a local investigator, which eliminates the costs for hotel, mileage, and travel time.

Rafael Torres, Founder and President

​

Rafael Torres, founder and President of Torres Protection Group, is active in the overall direction and growth of the organization, managing the firm’s daily operations, and actively working with clients and investigative/security personnel. Prior to founding Torres Protection Group, Torres spent 14 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, where he acquired extensive investigative and security experience. Mr. Torres has wide-ranging investigative experience and has headed several high-profile investigations during his tenure with the U.S. Secret Service, both within the U.S and abroad.

Additionally, Mr. Torres has provided security for U.S. Presidents, former Presidents, and visiting Heads of States, and has participated in major domestic security events as well as several International protection assignments.
